An Interview With Rapper MIKE ANGE

1)How did you come by your stage name?

Mike comes from my name Michael and Ange is Angel without the L because I’m not fully an angel.

2)you could change one thing about the music industry, what would it be?

To make it more about skill than popularity.

3)What goals do you see yourself achieving in the next 5 to 10 years?

Being a well-known name in the music world.

4)What thing or person motivates you the most to wake up every morning and go hard at pursing your dream of becoming a musician?

Myself, my mother, and others around me who are trying to make it out hard times

5)Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music that you would want to pursue once you’ve established the tools and resources needed from your music career?

Playing basketball and working out are important hobbies to me and even roller blading occasionally

6)What strengths do you have that you believe make you a standout from other musicians?

Versatility to to do different styles of music, fast flows, witty lines.

7)What’s your favorite and least favorite part about being a musician?

My favorite part is performing in front of my supporters and creating the music. Least favorite is the difficulty of getting people to become legit fans

8)What’s your your creative process usually like when you’re working on new music?

Listening to instrumental and freestyle lyrics until I find the perfect words.

9)What has been the most fulfilling moment of your career so far that people may not know?

Most fulfilling was throwing my own show and having a dope turn out with my supporters

10)Would you agree that it is important to learn, study, and understand the history of musicians who have done it before you as you navigate the industry as a newer artist?

I feel nowadays it doesn’t matter. To me I like to study certain flows and interpret it to my style.

11)What music advice would you give your younger self?

Advice to my younger self is practice on making more appealing music for the audience you’re aiming for.

12)What is the best advice you’ve been given about the music industry? Just drop material, don’t worry too much and second guess.

13)What is one message you would give to your fans?

I would tell my fans just to keep doing what they are doing which is showing genuine love.

14)How would you describe the music that you typically create?

I cant box it in, I have music for different occasions and different moods.
