Too many new business owners out there are trying to build a following on Instagram from day 1, get their first paid clients, or just sell something to people they don’t know anything about. But before you even have a paid offer and instead of focusing on vanity metrics like social media followers, why not provide value? That can happen by creating a lot of free content related to your niche, showing up for your audience consistently, giving them quick wins, building authority by doing that for at least a few months to find your voice, and understanding these people. Then, when it’s time to release your paid offer, put your heart and soul into making it the most valuable product or service you can, make the offer irresistible, and know it will reach the people it’s meant to help.

This is a long game.
