Towards Inclusivity: Combating Misogyny and Empowering Women

To foster inclusivity in a seemingly chaotic world, there is a necessity to account for every individual, whatever their age, race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality. Although the past decades have seen improvements in addressing the inequality that permeates society, mankind has a long way to go in ensuring equal treatment and opportunities for all. The best way to go about this is by starting conversations so as to avoid ignorance and oppression to govern the lives of many. One salient problem almost half of the world population experiences is misogyny.

What is misogyny?

Over the years, it has become apparent that there has been a specific contempt for or ingrained prejudice against women, and the best word to describe this appalling attitude is misogyny. Historically, women have been subjected to feel inferior towards their supposed counterparts, the male species. Ultimately, being a woman can be a challenge since extra precautions are expected to be taken to satisfy the gender norms and stereotypes. With that, womanhood becomes a pain in the neck, rather than something empowering. However, the silver lining today is that there has been an increased awareness surrounding this issue and has been a great topic of debates and discussions, especially in the pursuit of societal progression.

What can we do?

According to Bianca Taylor, a certified confidence coach and an empowered woman, educating others is the first step towards eradicating systemic misogyny. Although women fight for equal opportunities in different areas of the world, the saddest part is that women, too, have learned to internalize this degrading perspective, which results in their discouragement to realize their true selves rooted in passion and womanhood. For example, women adjust their clothing and suppress their sexuality to avoid offending conservative individuals or for others to take them seriously. To address this concern, Taylor founded and coaches for The Embodied Babe to assist women to gain their confidence and to live in accordance with their true values and beliefs.

What is The Embodied Babe?

The Embodied Babe advocates to help women overcome their own self-doubt, drop the shame, and step into full power to allow them to find abundance, liberation, and freedom. It provides women coaching and mentorship, as well as a community for women to truly express their desires and to teach them how they can turn their dreams into reality.

Their services include one-on-one coaching and group coaching. One-on-one coaching will help women with internal and external work, which focuses on mindset, self-awareness development, as well as career goals, mentorship in social media management, and the like. For both packages, prospect clients have an option to either subscribe to a payment plan or pay in full. There is no pressure for those who are on a tight budget because Taylor does her best to work with people if they are ready for the commitment. The only requirement she asks is for women to be prepared to take a leap towards self-development.

With that, if you are ready to begin your journey with Bianca Taylor and The Embodied Babe, you can sign-up for one-on-one or group coaching on their website or you can visit their Instagram account. You can also follow Taylor on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter
